ALMOST had my first ever hole in one today.

Hey all, went golfing today at the local course and did this. I went 132.7/133 yards. Sooooo close but yet so far to a hole in one. Luckily this was the 15th hole so it made my day and almost a lot better. For reference I shot 106 in all 😭😭😭. I’ve started to play back in July and have enjoyed playing since then. If I really just figure out how to hit a single drive I can easily my score would drastically go down. But there I was today teeing off with my 7 hybrid and 5 wood.

    What happened ? Caddie give you the wrong yardage ? 

    😂😂😂 Great shot JK….I never got mine either , around 1996 I had about that length twice in a week from 200 yards, one was a 6I, one a 4I. Conversely I had a now deceased uncle who I once saw turn in a scorecard of 160….nail one with a 5-wood

    So much luck involved , unfortunately 

    Oh and good for you for using shorter clubs to find the fairway. Some guys kill the driver but can’t hit wedge, myself even when I scored high 70’s was horrible with big stick. When I switched to the huge 460CC heads, it actually got worse, go figure. Then once it’s in your head, you have zero confidence, and it’s just NO FUN
